This trend really shows that more companies are leaning towards greener materials. Big players like BASF and Dow are actually stepping up their game, coming up with bio-based plastics that are kinder to the environment. But here’s the tricky part: finding that sweet spot between making sure products work well and being sustainable isn’t always easy. A lot of folks still don’t really know the ins and outs about different kinds of plastics out there. Polypropylene and polyethylene are the most common, but honestly, they might not be the best long-term options. Manufacturers are feeling the pressure to switch to biodegradable stuff, but progress is slow, and let’s be real, costs are still holding some back.
